
Shipping Policy
At IT Accessories, we strive to ensure that every order is processed, packaged, and delivered safely and on time. This Shipping Policy outlines how we handle order processing, delivery timelines, shipping methods, and related responsibilities for all orders placed through our official sales channels.
Order Processing
Same-Day Processing:
All orders are processed on the same day once payment or order confirmation is received.
Orders Placed After 3:00 PM (Kenyan Time):
Orders made beyond 3:00 PM will be processed the following business day.
Processing Timeline:
Standard processing time is within the same day and takes a maximum of 2 business days, depending on stock availability and logistical conditions.
Orders are confirmed in writing before dispatch. Only confirmed orders are eligible for shipping.
Delivery Coverage
We deliver products across Kenya and throughout the East African region via our trusted courier partners and company logistics team.
Delivery coverage includes, but is not limited to:
- Major towns and cities across Kenya
- Regional deliveries to Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan (by special arrangement)
Delivery Timelines
Estimated delivery timelines are as follows:
- Within Nairobi and its environs: 1–2 business days
- Upcountry deliveries (within Kenya): 2–4 business days
- Regional/East African deliveries: 3–7 business days (subject to customs and transit conditions)
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to stock availability, courier schedules, weather conditions, or other unforeseen factors.
Delivery Charges
Delivery fees are calculated based on destination, weight, and package size.
Applicable delivery charges will be communicated and agreed upon before dispatch.
For bulk orders or high-value shipments, delivery arrangements may be customized as agreed between IT Accessories and the client.
Order Tracking
Once an order has been dispatched, clients will receive a dispatch confirmation message or tracking details (where applicable).
Tracking information can be used to monitor delivery progress with our courier partner.
Risk and Responsibility
Risk of loss, damage, or theft passes to the client immediately upon delivery or collection, even if installation is pending.
IT Accessories ensures that all items are properly packaged and handled before dispatch.
Clients are advised to inspect goods upon delivery and report any issues within 24 hours.
Delivery Delays
IT Accessories is not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Transport disruptions or courier delays
- Supplier shortages
- Customs clearance procedures
- Force majeure events (e.g., strikes, floods, or natural disasters)
In such cases, clients will be promptly notified of the expected delay and given an updated delivery schedule.
Failed Deliveries and Re-Deliveries
If a delivery attempt fails due to the client’s unavailability, incorrect address, or refusal to accept goods, re-delivery charges may apply.
Goods not collected or received within 7 days of dispatch may incur storage fees or be returned to IT Accessories.
In-Store Pickup
Clients may choose to collect orders directly from our offices or warehouse.
Pickup is available during business hours (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday).
Clients should wait for confirmation that their order is ready for collection before visiting the pickup point.
Damaged or Missing Items
If goods arrive damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, clients must:
- Notify IT Accessories within 24 hours of delivery, and
- Provide supporting evidence (e.g., delivery note, photos, or invoice).
We will investigate promptly and may offer a replacement, exchange, or refund according to our Returns & Refund Policy.
International Shipping
For orders outside Kenya, shipping terms, charges, and delivery timelines are determined based on destination and courier availability.
All international shipments are subject to customs regulations and import duties, which are the responsibility of the client.
Delivery estimates exclude time spent in customs clearance.
